Birthdays

Do you recall going to family parties and watching the birthday child open the presents? Were you a little jealous? Did you want to help? Well, I'm not sure we have quite figured out how to restrain all the children from "helping". It was Win and Emma's Birthdays, while we were in St. George, so the kids "helped" open the presents. See if you can figure out who the birthday kids really are.

I really enjoy your posts and especially the pictures. I guess you were so busy with it that you forgot to call dad to wish him happy father's day and tell him what a great dad he is. That's ok--Kyra and Danny didn't call either. love ya

I did read all of your new posts but decided I would just do a mass comment instead of individual comments for each one! St. George was enjoyable as usual. I think you should have let Rachel take what she packed and then when she figured out she didn't have clothes, she would remember to pack them next year! I loved Austin's prayer for dinner...especially the parts about Satan and the Universe. He kills me! Your family is always so good with Porter, I really appreciate it. I'm excited to see the new windows on your house (I hope they do help during the winter). Good luck this Summer, I hope that Austin gets another great teacher next year!

Thanks for stopping by my Queen of Sheba blog--I just started it, so you are the first official commentator! I know my kids have a "hard time" at others birthday parties until they are around 4 . . . then they finally "get it". Once at my son's 3rd birthday, the kids were very hesitant to hit the Pooh Bear pinata. They didn't want to hit the poor guy.

Mandi,

No I was not up and posting at 5:30 this morning. I just didn't know that I needed to go in and set up my clock on my blog. It is now set. I'm glad Quinn let you just come over and visit. I don't have anyone like that here either so I really miss it too.

Have a happy 4th of July!
Katie
